Junction City is the capital of the Outskirts, and it is in the middle of the five kingdoms, Sambria, Necronum, Zeropolis, Elloweer, and Creon. It is connected to the other kingdoms by Five Roads. All shaping powers work a little here. It is also the location of the First Castle, where the High King lives, and the School of Minding, a school that only true graduated Wayminders can attend. Violet studies in this school.
Due to the fact that all kinds of shaping function at least to some degree within Junction, interesting mixes of shaping power can be made. For example, Queen Harmony states that her abilities are a mix of Necronum Deathweaving and Ellowene Enchanting.
